File Extensions

The following table lists the file extensions for the different types of CuteSITE Builder files.

CuteSITE Builder publishes pages with .htm extensions by default. You can set individual pages to publish with any of the following file extensions; .htm, .html, .php, .asp, .cfm, .jsp, .shtml, .xslt, or .xml.

To change a page's file extension

1.  Open the page in CuteSITE Builder.

2.  Right click in the page.

3.  Click Properties > Page.

4.  Click the Extension tab.

5.  Select the extension you want from the Html Ext list.

6.  Click OK.

Note

If you change the file extension your pages may not display the same way in Preview as they do when you publish them, and CuteSITE Builder will warn you of this. You can turn off the warning by clicking Tools > Options > General and under Show warning when previewing pages clearing the If any pages have extension other than "htm" or "html" check box.
