Use the Permission interface DirShowHidden property to determine if a group or client can see hidden files, and to display or hide hidden files.
Signature:
HRESULT DirShowHidden([out, retval] VARIANT_BOOL *pVal);
HRESULT DirShowHidden([in] VARIANT_BOOL newVal);
True = Displayed
False = Hidden
