Configuring the administrator home IP and port

In order to remotely administer the server, you need to know the administrator home IP and port. The server engine can listen on all IP addresses and ports available to the computer it is located on.

 

To choose the IP address(es) and port the server listens on

  1. Start the Administrator Interface and connect to the server you want to configure.

  2. At the bottom of the left pane, click the Server tab.

  3. In the left pane, select a Server.

  4. In the right pane, click the Remote Administration tab.

  5. In the Administrator Home IP list, choose All Incoming or a single IP address.

  6. In the Administrator Port box, enter the port number you want the server to listen on for remote administration . 1000 is the default.

Note: The next time you connect to the server using the Administrator Interface you must use the port number and IP address you have specified.

  1. Click Apply.
